BGWG Monster Media designed and developed a custom software experience for a branded vending machine that blended video, gamification, user-generated content, and instant gratification.
Fans were invited to watch a short video clip of a Timberwolves player striking their signature flex pose directly on the vending machine’s touchscreen interface.
Using the machine’s built-in camera, the software prompted fans to record themselves doing their best version of the player’s flex. The interface provided countdowns, retake options, and real-time previews to make it approachable and fun.
Once recorded, the video was automatically uploaded to a secure server. A unique QR code appeared on-screen, letting fans instantly view, download, or share their clip via mobile — no app required.
After participating, the vending machine dispensed a randomly selected prize — branded Timberwolves merchandise — creating a rewarding conclusion to the experience.
